new to the industry looking for a little help
« on: August 03, 2011, 02:59:00 AM »
just got this job in, they want it done on a a white and a dark heather. He said he wants it two colors black and white on the white shirt.  Does that even make sense? Would you print black and highlight it with white while also printing white on white . When i saw the picture i figured you would just throw down the black and let the shirt itself be the white. I would definitely like some input on this like mesh to use and would you pfp on the dark heather?

so i guess what do you thing the best way is to run this job. input much appreciated. I want it to look as good as possible and to learn as much as i possibly can

Black on the white shirt, white on the black shirt.  Why waste a screen?

Two color on both.........okay white on white optional but sometimes helps with the pop. Especially with halftones and details in buildings etc.

Agree with Tony, your prints will be much more consistant on white shirts and dark shirts.

Tony's probably right, but I would be hard "pressed" (get it?) to print white on a white shirt.

I'd drop a light gray in there and white to make the tints and shadows in the details pop a little more.

An excellent consideration. After looking at it again that is exactly what I would do.....white, gray, black on all shirts.
This would yield the best results.
