Current project I'm working on
« on: February 03, 2015, 09:12:13 AM »
This is the project I'm working on now.
15 Sprinters and 13 box trucks. All done with printed and cut Avery 1005/1360 DOL combo.  1560 sq feet of material.
Due to the huge snow in the area, the whole trucks were not cleaned, just power washed and alcohol wiped down panels where the signs are going.

11 done, 17 more to go.

wow, that looks like fun . .  . . . . . NOT! How long is it taking per truck?

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

It is not that bad, as long as they clean them good :)
It takes between 45 minutes and an hour for the Sprinters. Maybe 1:30 or 1:45 hours for the big ones.
I have a helper that helps me to line them up and center them on the trucks, while I keep squeegee them in, he cleans the other side or the new truck. We just wipe them down with a 99% alcohol, the truck are already cleaned for us (they power wash them and clean the dirt and grime)

Sprinters get 2' tall and 5' long decals, the big ones are 4' tall and 10' long.

Nice work!  Atleast it doesn't look like there are grommets from the photos.  Gotta love grommets
It's not a job if you love doing it.

Only a few on the back roll up door on the box trucks. No big deal.
He has also 3 of 26' box trucks and I believe those have some rivets on them. Did not see them yet.

Thanks
