65 or 55 lpi on hoodies

Working on a sim process job for some Independent hoodies.  We have never printed sim process on hoodies.  Those with experience on them, 65lpi ok or should we go 55?

Agree.  You need a little more beef in your dot to work on the bigger weave as well as a slightly lower mesh like all 230's max or S mesh in order to get good saturation.

If using 55-65 or 305 mesh, is will be very light and airy looking. Not vibrant.

Thanks guys!  I was thinking 45 originally, but wasn't sure if the detail would be there.  We'll give it a whirl.

50 might be a better option to yield a little more detail but still able to be held on a lower mesh count

Definitely.  55lpi on Indy's french terry.

I was actually just going to suggest Hanes Print pro for the same reason.
Usually don't even have to change the setup past dropping OC...

We do quite a bit od sim process on hoodies with mix media ( tees and hoodies). Have good luck with a thinned down base to saturate into the fibers. 55 lip.  Printed this one this week.
