Starting to get to my breaking point with Workhorse right now.
This is my second Super Seca flash unit that is having an issue now. The last one had a defective switch after about 3 weeks of use. No big deal they sent me a new one and I sent the old one back. This one has been working for about 4-5 months now and when I went to turn it on this morning, the light went on, then I went to set a job up a few minutes later, and the thing is ice cold. Getting tech support for these things hasn't been great or speedy, so I'm still waiting on them to get back to me. At this point, I'd like a refund. I had a 5 color job setup today that I planned on shipping out before days end, well, that's shot now.
Out of desperation I went and bought a cheap 16x16 no name flash from a local supply place and to my luck, there was flash floods all around their warehouse and I couldn't get there to pick it up lol. Just not my day I guess.
Anyone have an idea how to trouble shoot a standard IR flash? It doesn't look like a lot of moving parts so i don't know what can be wrong.
