Yep, Im a TCU fan. Why? I didn't go to school there. I don't consider myself a Christian, and the only part of Texas I ever spent any time in was El Paso for a couple of weeks in 1968.
So why?, folks ask me.
It goes like this;
Years and years ago I got a call at Frog Prints that soon was evident was not meant for me as the caller asked about printing their term paper. Turns out that TCU's book store print center is called "Frog Prints" for their Horned Frogs team name. Apparently, my SEO was pretty good and I often appeared top of the page in their searches. Some did not notice or bother to look further to see the entire listing as a T-shirt printer in California. As time went on, the calls increased like crazy as now the searches were on phones with less provision to easily read the entire listing without significant scrolling.
So, I talked to a lot of TCU students explaining that no, their paper was not ready or they didn't leave their sunglasses or keys on my counter.
After a while, I felt like they were like neighbors, and I started following their games and found that they often had something going on as a competitive force.
Go Frogs!
