I guess the only good thing is that you have to have an account with sanmar already so it's not your normal person that goes to the sanmar website and gets it all done at one place.  The contract customers I think will benefit from this the most....but most of the time they already have printers in their area I would think that work with them.

I wonder how or even if someone like me would actually benefit from being on the list.   My first test on 15 shirts with a 3 color print from one of their random printers was cheaper than my price is but they were getting the shirts at cost and I have a markup on mine...but I think it was pretty close if I take away my markup.

Yea, but I can be on the list... Im not sure about your business. But I can't. I am not a majority contract shop. Now we do contract work though.. but me not being on the list sort of takes that away from us.

If some cricket Karen near me has an sanmar account and they take an order thats to large and contract it out, well lets go to sanmar and pick someone. Where maybe they would have picked me if they had to google search to hire me to help them.

I get it.

I wonder how to get on the list.  Do we have to call our rep or did they just pick from their list of printers.

You can get on the list if you hit all the criteria.... I could if I reallllly wanted to but contract work doesn't interest me at all.  I can only imagine the issues and nonsense these printers are going to face now they are in the wide open to literally everyone with a sanmar account.  Imagine all the criket karens asking where their order is every 5 minutes....damn dude...no thanks

Requirements:
Contract decorating is your primary business focus
You currently service a broad base of SanMar customers
NET terms established and in good standing
Allows for SanMar customers to drop ship directly
Production location must be commercially zoned
Website/marketing plan communicating contract decoration service details
Annual site visits and Decoration Profile required
Willing to work directly with SanMar on troubleshooting Decoration Solutions
...keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get what you've got...

Hmm, do you think this a long term play to eventualy let general public place orders with decoration @ sanmar.com. look at all the consolidation the last 18 -24 months, the landscape will be much differant in a short amount time of for many printshops.
change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.

It's setup mainly for the PSST customers. Pack Separate, Ship Together.  It's volume contract decorators.

I am not on that program, and I do not care to be.

Pierre may be able to shine some light on it, I would imagine he is on that program, but I can't verify.

Our Rep foe Sanmar will pass our name along to local contractors he thinks would be a good fit for us.

The form to become a sanmar customer says "State Sales Tax License # for Garment Industry is required." so it's not like Johnny Landscaper is able to get an account with SanMar - unlike S&S who will sell to anyone with a pulse....

I tried to place an order for 24 tanks, one color pdf for art, it's super easy to do, this will work for anyone doing more volume than they care to with DTF...jussayin
