Been awhile? Are you kidding? Happens all the time and the voters keep voting them back in.
Nah. Politicians are idiots, granted, but rarely are they just horrible on camera. Most at least say the right things, or are smart enough to mutter "No comment". But to argue with reporters, call one a jackass, then say you don't know if the junk in question is yours, despite the fact you've seen it everyday of your life . . . That's an impressive amount of $hit stepping.
Sure, politicians screw up all the time. But I do think its been awhile since one has handled a situation this badly.
