I am moving my shop from Memphis, TN to Springfield, MO as part of an acquisition / merger.  Here are some pics of the progress.  We have a couple of busy weeks ahead of us. Wish us luck!

It was a bit chaotic today.  We should have 2 of the machines and the dryer operational soon.

What are you moving?

We are doing 3 Automatics, Installing a new SROQUE, 3 dryers, many manuals, and 19 heads of embroidery.

I have to hand it to you man!  Moves are tough.  We had the luxury of 2 months of pre-planning and work with contractors for the electrical, gas, venting.

I cant wait to see your progress!  Moving shops can be a PITA!

We are installing 1 each 12/14 and 16/18 Printex Prism II's.  There's an 8/10 Prism II headed this way.  We are also installing an Interchange Air Jet and other easy stuff (folder/ bagger, exposure unit, washout bay, etc.)

That is a butt load of work to be done.  Good luck with it and don't kill yourself and your guys trying to get it done.

Best of luck with the move. Are you starting with all new equipment and selling off the old stuff from your TN shop or moving it up there later?

Good to hear from you Brian. I sold the 12c Falcon. We moved the 16c PII. The 12c PII is new.

John:  Thanks for reaching out yesterday with an update and with the details on your new location.  If you’re going to be around tomorrow I’d like to make a run down for a brief visit and look around.  It sounds like you have a lot of interesting stuff going on.

We are making progress.  We added a 16ft extension to our Interchange AirJet.  That was fun!  Electricians and HVAC guys are behind.  For some reason they don't want to work weekends and holidays.  I can't complain too much.  None of our customers are screaming about due dates this time of year.

The most daunting task is still ahead.  Only 2 of my 8 production guys are moving to Missouri.  Lots of hiring and training ahead of us.

I'm looking forward to seeing Peter Walsh tomorrow.
